Roadworks are now nearing completion. London Road has been sealed to 9 metres in width and the link between the Brolgan and Condobolin Roads also sealed. This access should be available by early October.
The entry road from London Road to the weighbridges and offices has now been sealed, again improving access and keeping trucks clean.
Though recently established, Westlime has already demonstrated its commitment to the Central West farming community through sponsorship of the Central West Conservation Farming Association (CWCFA). Westlime supplied a load of lime as a door prize at the CWCFA’s annual seminar in February, and has donated lime for research purposes to the Gennaren Hill Land Care Group, west of Peak Hill. The Managing Director of Westlime was raised on the land, and acknowledges the contribution of grass roots farming to regional and national agricultural research.

Martin Gleeson of Orange, purchased Westlime’s Quality Fine Agricultural Lime and conducted his own trial by spreading it on one of his two oats paddocks, prior to sowing. The limed paddock has achieved a remarkable result, and at this early stage has achieved at least triple the growth under exactly the same conditions. Mr Gleeson contacted Westlime to report what he believes is an incredible result.
